My name is Suzanne Rich Goodwin. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor that practices in the state of Alabama. I earned a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, a Master's in School Counseling, and completed doctoral classes in general psychology with a focus on grief and addiction. I started my private practice in 2017. Before launching my private practice, I worked as a school counselor and educator at the primary and post-secondary level.
I believe that each and every person has room to grow. I believe that with the right support and tools a person can change, become stronger and create a happier, more fulfilled life. Being happy, overcoming tragedy, or changing is not always easy. My goal during therapy is to help my clients identify life's problems and feelings connected to those problems. I then help guide my clients to identify solutions, take steps to overcome those problems, which helps create a better life.
I offer professional individual and family counseling services, including Telehealth options through phone or video consultations.
